Welcome
Established in 1898, we have developed in recent years to become one of the largest and most successful, inclusive crown green bowling clubs in the area catering for all levels of bowlers, from what was originally a male only members bowling club. So whether you are a complete novice or beginner or are an experienced bowler who wants to play in the league, our club is the place to be! We have regular 'fun' social bowling sessions throughout the main season - a great way for you to meet some club members and try our great game and if you already have bowling experience we have 13 teams in 4 local leagues, and new players are always welcome.
We also have a great number of social activities and events which you can enjoy too.
We have lots of club comeptitions throughout the season for both new and experienced bowlers - all of which are well attended and great fun.
SOCIAL EVENTS & ENTERTAINMENT EVENINGS
Our club also hosts regular Saturday evening events including cash bingo, fun race nights, afternoon tea parties, fish & chip suppers, quiz nights, live entertainment and theme nights - all of which are well attended and great fun.
